The military conflict museum was opened on 13 February 2009. This history museum is dedicated to the participation of Poltava residents in all conflicts on foreign soil of the 20th century. The largest part of the exhibition is related to the Afghan war of 1979-1989.
The museum of the former Poltava Artillery College demonstrates the history of a magnificent building in downtown Poltava. The exhibition showcases the history of the institution, founded in the dreadful 1941, and spans the history of the General Vatutin Missile Air Defense Higher Command College, from its founding to the closure in 1995.
